9.23.08 - "Every New Beginning Comes From Some Other Beginning's End..."
Four years into "Fire It Up," and after two and a half years on 91.5 WMFO, the Spinners have decided to call it quits...
...Hold on, not completely. Just the WMFO part. You won't be hearing us from 4-6 on Friday afternoons anymore. We've had a great run over there and we've been afforded some great opportunities at that station, but all good things must evolve and change with the times to avoid getting stale. So we're going to evolve.
October 2008 will bring the introduction of an all-new Spinners experience: our blog/podcast site that will allow for maximum listener enjoyment every day of the week - not just Fridays. We'll bring back some of our old friends and introduce some new ones in the effort to create the most fan-friendly Boston sports website you can possibly find, anywhere. So be on the lookout for the unveiling of a new chapter of Fire It Up - coming October '08!
